Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial tractor-trailer.
  • Haul dedicated Amazon freight on assigned routes.
  • Meet scheduled pickup and delivery commitments.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain DOT compliance and accurate logs.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch and operations.
  • Utilize GPS, ELD systems, and Amazon transportation technology.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, and violations promptly.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment.
  • Refuel equipment as required.
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, state, and local regulations.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Adapt professionally to changing traffic, weather, and operational conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and favorable DAC report.
  • Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
  • No failed or refused drug or alcohol test within the last five years.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak seasons.
  • Proficiency with smartphones, GPS applications, and Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of commercial driving experience is preferred.
  • Amazon Relay experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience operating sleeper tractors.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and professionalism.
