Duties

• Assist physical therapists with patient setup, positioning, and mobility exercises to facilitate effective treatment sessions
• Prepare treatment areas by cleaning equipment, arranging supplies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Support patient intake procedures by collecting preliminary information and documenting basic health details under supervision
• Monitor patient comfort during therapy sessions and report any concerns or changes to the clinical team promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces, equipment, and supplies to uphold hygiene standards
• Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments or updating patient records as directed
• Observe and learn from clinical staff to deepen understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapy practices

Requirements

• Prior experience working in hospital settings or clinics is highly preferred, especially in inpatient or outpatient environments
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support effective communication with healthcare professionals
• Demonstrated commitment to patient service and care, with a compassionate attitude towards diverse patient populations including geriatrics and orthopedics
• Experience with acute care or post-acute care settings such as sub-acute or hospital medicine is advantageous
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a lively and proactive approach to daily tasks
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and safety standards in clinical environments
• Must be adaptable to fast-paced settings like outpatient clinics or inpatient units, demonstrating flexibility across different care scenarios

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
