Case Aide -Caregiver Services Program

Provide assistance to CASC Caregiver Services Program by conducting intakes, manage administrative tasks and clerical tasks, assist with monitoring calls and follow ups following NYC Aging standards of operation for the Caregiver Services Program.

Position Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree, preferred
  • 1-3 years required experience working in the field of social services.

 

   Requisite Skills and Capabilities:

  • Experience working in the field of social services is required.
  • Knowledge of CASC programs and community resources.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills required, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Sensitivity to clients and staff
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under the direction of others
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Ability to work with considerable self-reliance

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Caregiver Services Program by conducting conduct follow-ups and monitoring calls as required and manage administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Administrative duties include: running reports, monitor client service reports, support in coordinating supplemental supplies, organizing meetings/trainings.
  • Assist with monitoring program calendar to help with reminders.
  • Related duties as assigned.
  • Know overall agency goals and programs.

  • Effective documentation in VIVE
  • Effective implementation of NYC Aging and CASC procedures and guidelines

Supervision:

  • Supervised by Program Supervisor
  • No supervisory responsibilities
  • Participate in NYSOFA, NYC Aging, CASC trainings and education sessions as required
