The Program Supervisor of the Caregiver Services Program is responsible for overall leadership, management, and quality of the Caregiver Services Program. This role helps ensure effective service delivery, compliance with contractual and agency requirements, and adherence to best practices. In collaboration with the Program Director, this role supports daily operations, staff performance, case review, and workflow, The Program Supervisor also carries a limited caseload to support program needs. Furthermore, the Program Supervisor will supervise and guide outreach activities and efforts to increase awareness and education about caregiving and resources in the community.

Position Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree required, including one of the following or an equivalent master’s- level field:
- Social Work
- Human services
- Social Services
- Public Administration
- Public Health
- Fluent in a second language (preferred)
- Experience in program management, supervision, or leadership with social services, aging services, caregiver support programs, or related fields preferred.
- Strong knowledge of caregiver needs, support models and community-based service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage compliance, and implement best practices.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing daily functions and supporting all aspects of the Caregiver Services Program
- Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Caregiver Services Program.
- Ensure program activities align with contractual requirements, agency policies, and best practices.
- Assist Program Director to oversee day-to-day program operations, including service delivery, compliance, workflow, and staff performance.
- Assigns cases in consultation with Program Director
- Assist Program Director to review and sign off on family caregiver’s case, including intake, assessment, assessment summary case notes, and Caregiver Support Plan.
- May carry a caseload as needed performing the following tasks: conduct intakes, in-home assessments, develop individualized caregiver support plans, and coordinate services to meet caregivers’ needs, including case closures as appropriate.
- Develop, update, and implement program policies and procedures.
- With Fiscal Department, responsible for monitoring expenses to ensure program remains within budget
- Maintain familiarity with all relevant NYC Aging standards, including updates to standards and procedures
- Conducts staff meetings and supervisory sessions as required
- Represent CASC at community events, committees and coalitions
- Assist with other program activities as assigned
- Additional responsibilities as assigned

- Caregiver Services Program operates effectively and efficiently
- Detailed program record keeping leads to timely submission of reports as required by NYC Aging and CASC
- Continuous Quality Improvement goals achieved
- Clients served receive high quality, individualized services and supports to meet their needs
- Effective implementation of NYC Aging and CASC procedures and guidelines
Supervision and Education:
- Directly Supervised by Caregiver Services Program Director
- Provide direct supervision to Outreach Coordinator and Case Aide; also support program staff, as assigned by Program Director.
- Review care plans, assessments, and client records for accuracy and quality.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing professional development planning, as directed by Program Director.
- Carry a limited case load to support program needs.
- Participate in and help Program Director lead team meetings
- Participate in NYSOFA, NYC Aging and CASC training and education sessions.
- Participate in local educational and informational sessions and conferences
- Annual personnel review
