ROLE
Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, assists in the overall administration of the programs. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Temporary Associate Director to join our team and lead impactful programs that serve older adults. This position is a temporary role with a variety of opportunities for a full-time position within our organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee program development, manage relationships with clients and community partners, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Your leadership will inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement across all program areas. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising staff members and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of program development, budgeting, and administrative processes within social work or related fields.
  • Strong relationship management skills to foster partnerships with community stakeholders and funding bodies.
  • Advanced computer skills (including Microsoft Office, emails, uploads/downloads, scanning)
  • Strong organization skills and time management skills to meet short deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with NYC and State agencies and the public

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with staff, clients, community organizations, and funding agencies to enhance service coordination.
  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Completes site visits at all locations as needed and reports back to Executive Director.
  • Reviews timesheets, completes worksheets, and cross checks against payroll previews.
  • Work with Executive Director in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs designed to support members.
  • Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of the program’s special events.
  • Responsible for the process of gauging interest among classes by developing, distributing, collecting, and analyzing client surveys.
  • Review and approve monthly class instructor invoices and provide to bookkeeper
  • Oversite of menus; adjusts and submits for approval as needed
  • Substitute for the Executive Director as necessary
  • Assists the program in any capacity necessary (in unusual or emergency situations) upon Executive Director’s request.

Pay: $28.00 - $46.00 per hour
