Job Overview
Grooming salon is seeking an energetic and highly organized receptionist to join our team! In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and clients. Your proactive approach and excellent organizational skills will ensure smooth office management and a positive first impression for everyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
  • Answering phones, emails, and responding to messages
  • Handle scheduling, calendar management, and appointment setting for staff and clients
  • Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and up to date client records
  • Support office management tasks such as supply inventory and general clerical duties
  • Ability to handle a fast pace environment and manage challenging situations with patience and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of prior experience required in office administration, clerical work, or as a receptionist in a pet care facility, hair salon, or other fast paced environment
  • Passion for animals
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and be on their feet for extended periods is preferred
