Pest Control / Exterminator

Central Pest Control is seeking dedicated Pest Control technicians. Experience not required; we provide training.  This is a part-time position.

In this position, you will provide pest control services for commercial businesses, residential buildings, hotels, restaurants, schools, and other establishments. The ideal candidate is independent, has great communication skills, and the ability to interact in a professional manner with clients.

Position Description

• Inspect and treat for various pests, including animals and insects
• Build and maintain excellent customer relations by delivering great service and communication
• Take initiative and responsibility for correcting pest problems
• Record keeping of route reports, printed and/or electronically
• Ensure scheduled route completion
• Use hand tools, power tools, and appropriate chemicals safely and effectively
• Working on ladders, step stools and confined spaces
• Utilize sales skills to recommend additional services or products
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and/or weekends.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Maintain a valid driver’s license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Independent and confident personality
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent decision-making skills
• Complete state, local and company required training programs within prescribed time limits for proper certification.
• Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching. Move up to 10 lbs. regularly, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force to move objects is required occasionally.
