Summary

We are seeking an Educational Evaluator/Evaluations Coordinator to join our team in the United States. This vital role involves coordinating and conducting educational assessments to help tailor interventions that meet each child's unique needs. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer educational evaluations and social histories for children with special needs.
  • Collaborate with therapists, educators, and families to develop personalized assessment plans.
  • Must be a highly organized person with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with ease
  • Coordination of related service evaluations
  • Attend all initial IEP meetings for all students evaluated
  • Complete mandatory packet paperwork for each student evaluated by Therapy Pros
  • Maintain detailed records of evaluations and progress reports.
  • Ensure assessments are conducted in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results.
  • Communicate findings effectively to parents, educators, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay updated on current assessment tools, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Assist in training staff on evaluation procedures and documentation
  • Manage team of evaluators to ensure timely submission of reports as well as quality assurance of reports submitted

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Special Education
  • NYSED certificate in Birth - 2nd grade
  • Experience working with children with developmental or educational needs.
  • Experience conducting educational assessments such as DAYC-2 or Brigance III
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with families and professionals.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools used in educational evaluations.
  • Preferred: Experience in managing small teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for supporting children’s developmental progress.
