Your primary responsibility will be to assist the special education teacher implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student. ```Responsibilities```
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Assist in adapting curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students
- Provide direct instruction in various early learning areas, including math, language arts, science, and social studies
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student
- Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instructional strategies as needed
- Collect data to determine student strengths and areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and behavior

```Skills```
-Bilingual Spanish preferred

-Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early intervention
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Proficiency in math instruction for students with special needs
- Familiarity with classroom technology and assistive devices for students with disabilities
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs is preferred

Licensure Requirements

-Teacher Assistant Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $31,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
