Certified Crossing Guard

Leading construction and engineering company in NYC is currently in search of a part-time Certified Crossing Guard, with the opportunity for full time hours. The position duties and responsibilities include:

• Direct movement of traffic through construction site using sign, hand and flag signals
• Warn construction workers if/when approaching vehicles fail to adhere to signals to prevent accident or injury

Requirements

• Strong hand-eye coordination
• Background in construction or flagging preferred
• Valid Flagger Certification required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have the ability to stand for several hours
• OSHA 30 required
