Experienced Tutor

We are looking to hire tutors for a range of grades and subjects. We provide in person sessions on Staten Island and virtual sessions in the tri state area. Sessions are most commonly provided in the family's house but are sometimes provided at a local library or virtually.

Requirements:

• Degree or in pursuit of degree in Education or the subject that you are applying for
• Experience tutoring the age/grade level you are applying for
• Able to create an education plan that is individualized for each student
• Passionate about making a difference
• Compassionate and patient in your approach to teaching
• Must have transportation

Responsibilities:

• Develop personalized lesson plans
• Provide one-on-one academic support
• Track and assess student progress
• Communicate with parents on student needs
• Help students develop study and time management skills
